This new generation Camry TRD is going to ride on Toyota’s
new modular platform called TNGA which stands for Toyota New Global
Architecture. It made its debut of production with 2016 Prius and provides the
basis of half Toyota’s vehicles. This TNGA seems to come up for tidying up the
Prius’ dynamics, so we can be optimistic that Camry makes the switch as well.
They have plans to reduce the weight measure and use some aluminum components
for the hood and some other places. That can be great planning.
The prototype is somehow using multi-spoke and sporty wheels
which are done in black. The side profile is slightly more angular design, not
a lot departure from the previous generation. Having an awkward design, the
current Camry favors sleeker or we can say more angular design with fish-like
front fascia. The highlights might be slimmer than the current model of Sedan.
However, the big triangular grille still dominates the fascia rear part with two
smaller cutouts that flanks either side. The rear body of Camry benefits for
the same change design on the front. For having a pointy design which is
highlighted by jagged, the curvy rear is ditched. LED units may be used for
boomerang- shaped taillights. On the top of the trunk attaches a slim spoiler
to emphasize the sportiness.
Talking about the powertrain, this Camry TRD will attach four-cylinder
of turbocharged that is tipped to join the lineup of Camry as an alternative
engine. It might be possible that the newest 2018 Camry TRD is now going to
confines the optional engine model of V-6 Camry which is sport- oriented. If it
happens, we might expect that Camry TRD will use the latest version of
3.5-liter V-6 Toyota that is rated in 295-hp in the Highlander. Camry TRD
tweaks may simply installed six-cylinder over the 300 horsepower verge. This
manual transmission is such a long shot since Camry has not proffered one of
them for few years and also all-wheel drive. Consumers may expect front-wheel
drive and the eight-speed of automatic transmission.
Overall, the consumers expect the more high performance car,
the sleeker and sportier model from the next generation of 2018 Toyota Camry
TRD
